I either heard or read somewhere that 'quilting is not an art, it is a science' and I believe that is probably right. Even though a quilt might end up as a work of art, it requires a lot of math to create it. This is a block from the quilt on which I am working at the present time. It is from Bonnie's Quiltville site and I chose it because of the name of the block "Weedwhacker". DH had lost the gas cap from his weedwhacker for the umpteenth time when I was looking at patterns and trying to decide what to do with the fat quarters that Pat had given me quite a few years back. You can detect the mistakes when you take a picture of the block and look at it on the computer. I am NOT going to take this apart to correct it but will be more careful in the future. I am thinking of creating a design wall since I am a bit too old to crawl around on the floor laying out the blocks.

oops. It'll add character to the quilt!

Plus, I could see where it would be real easy to flip things around....
